Sunday School

Sunday School is one of the most important things that happens on Sunday mornings.  A time of prayer, study, fellowship and fun can in found in our various classes. 

We have many different classes so we know you'll find a class that will interest you!

We want to give special recognition and thanks to Barbara Slavens this month.

In December, Barbara stepped down as Sunday School teacher of the Library Class. She had served as its leader for close to 20 years. When the class began many seasons ago it had 4 or 5 couples attending on a regular basis.

Through the years her teaching and the class popularity became known, and the class began to grow. Take a look on Sundays now, and you will see a class with many participants, often filling the perimeter of the entire library. Her discussion oriented leading has been popular and beneficial to many.

We thank her first for all her great love for the Lord, and secondly for her hearing His call and leading and teaching for these many years. We know that she will continue to be involved in ministry in many other ways.

But we want to say “Thank you, Barb, for enriching our spiritual lives through your ministry of teaching and caring!”
