In
June we usually launch the “One Great Hour of Sharing” campaign. We
might think of this as the walls of our mission house. This offering
is designed to raise contingency funds for helping those in
emergency situations around the world. We cooperate with several
other denominations in undertaking this kind of relief work. Our
funds have recently made major contributions to the victims of the
Asian tsunami, Hurricane Katrina, and earthquakes in Central America
and western Asia.
