Operation Christmas Child - November

Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperated situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes and the Good News of God's love.  This program of Samaritan's Purse provides an opportunity for people of all ages to be involved in a simple, hands-on missions project while focusing on the true meaning of Christmas - Jesus Christ.

It is not too soon to begin buying items for shoeboxes! This year's National Collection Week will be Nov 12 - 19. We have some of the preprinted boxes for distribution again this year. Watch for our table in the foyer coming soon. Great ideas for boxes include: crayons, pencils, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, wash cloths, hard candy, suckers, bubble gum, yoyos, sets of jacks, small dolls, stuffed animals, small cars and balls. Please do not include anything liquid, such as nail polish, shampoo, bubble bath, mouthwash, perfume. Also do not send chocolate. Remember to Pack & Pray!!
