Vacation Bible School – June 13 – 18

Our theme is Power Lab by Group. Kids will engage in fun & science-themed surprises. The delighted smiles and the memorable Bible points will add up to a life-long difference for our children. Mark the date on your calendar now and don’t miss out.

Jesus & Me Performing Arts Camps will be held the week of June 16th. Presentation on June 22nd. More details will be forthcoming. More fun-filled summer activities are in the planning stages. Watch for more details.

Wow, it is hard to believe that it has been 6 months already! It seems like yesterday that I was meeting with the search committee. My family and I have truly enjoyed our time with you so far, and look forward to continuing to grow with you.

Thank you to all the adults who helped out with our Survivor night. The kids had a great time, and we really enjoyed painting Jayson’s hair sparkly pink. Thanks for being such a good sport Jayson!

There is one change of the schedule I need to make everyone aware of. We will not meet as a youth group on May 11 so everyone can spend time with their mothers, so we moved the food pantry pre-pack to Saturday the 10th at 5:30. Please mark you calendars and bring your teenagers!!!

Can you believe that the end of school is only a couple of weeks away?!? I cannot! As you parents know, the end of school means lots or restless children around. Hopefully I can help with that this year! Once school is out, don’t hesitate to call or email me if anyone wants to do something.

I am still trying to learn my way around, so if there is anything that you enjoy doing during the spring and summer just let me know. (I love to play golf, baseball, and eat ice cream in case anyone was wondering) I will pretty much do anything outside when the weather is nice so send me your ideas of some activities for this summer and let’s get them on the calendar.

One thing we will be doing is having an end of school party on May 22. Look for further details coming soon, but make sure you mark that day on your calendar!
