Prayer Ministries
The scriptures teach us that prayer is the most important and powerful aspect
of the life of every believer. It is as vital to our spiritual life as breathing
is to our physical life, we can’t survive without it. What would happen if
every believer spent as much time in prayer as they do talking or texting on the
telephone, watching television or on the internet? Why not try it? Trade some
time on the Internet for more time on the INNERNET. Log Off and Kneel Down.
I
love the Lord because he hears my voice and my prayer for mercy. Because he
bends down to listen, I will pray as long as I have breath! Psalm 116:1-2 (NLT)

Whenever our staff receives a request for prayer we send it out on our

Chain you can contact the church office and request that your name be added to

Chapel Prayer List
Each Monday morning our office publishes a Chapel
Prayer List which provides an updated list of all of the known prayer concerns
of the First Baptist Family. A copy of this list is in the prayer chapel for
those who wish to drop in for prayer throughout the week. Our Chapel Prayer List
is also used by our church staff. As
we meet each Monday for our weekly staff meeting we lift up prayers and praises
on behalf of our church family. The Chapel Prayer
List is now also available via e-mail to all who request it.
