The goal of the Fine Arts Ministries is to uplift the Lord through music, ballet, drama, and puppets. The director's goals are to provide instruction, inspiration, worship, and encouragement for a closer walk with Christ through each facet of ministry.

We all have favorite hymns, anthems, or worship choruses.  Sometimes reading over the words of one of these pieces can be a real blessing.  Praying the words can be a great way to spend devotional time with God.
Looking back over the Chancel Choir’s season (that temporarily winds down at the end of May), I hope that the anthems we’ve shared have been a spiritual blessing to the congregation. 
We want to give the Lord All the Praise of a Lifetime because we know that Great is the Lord.  We’ve tried to honor The Names of Jesus since we know that People Need the Lord. He is The Carpenter’s Son, Redeemer, Agnus Dei, and we know that His Name Shall Be Called Wonderful because Emmanuel is Coming.. His birth began with a joyful Advent Jubilate to celebrate Christmastime. We want to Wonder Him With Love because No Eye Had Seen such a miracle as the angels sang Glory to God in the Highest.                 
We approach the choir loft with fear and trembling sometimes, not because of lack of rehearsal time, but because we know that Within These Walls is Holy Ground.  If we fail to Praise You, Lord, we know that Then Will the Very Rocks Cry Out.  We picture a Cradle in the Shadow of a Cross for we know that Without the Cross we wouldn’t be Coming Home. Because Once Upon a Tree our sins were Written in Red, I believe that God is Our Refuge and As For Me and My House We Will Serve the Lord.  We pray that He will Find Us Faithful because we know that The Lamb Has Overcome.
On That Day When He Rode Into Jerusalem he began to Face the Cross, but that was just the End of the Beginning.  He says, “Come With Me” to be baptized in the River in Judea.  We are to leave everything For the Sake of the Call.                 

These are The Days of Elijah, and just as centuries ago He said, “Go Down Moses”,   I want to ask Him to Order My Steps. My desire is to be shaped by The Potter’s Hand because I am so grateful that Mercy Saw Me.  I know that the Lord Jesus Christ has been with me since my first Borning Cry, and one day when we see Him face to face in heaven we will rejoice with all the saints who have gone before us as we See Them Come around His glorious throne.                                 Carol Mausehund
